Hi, I’ll keep myself anonymous to the best of my abilities, but it would be hard to not reveal some identifying characteristics during my writings. Or from some one with a strong intent to lift the curtains. Part of the reason of doing this, keeping one anonymous and even starting a blogging station, is to keep myself accountable and not reap the credit from it at anytime as that has historically stopped me from progressing (#FillInTheBlanks there is a scientific term for it).
With that out of the way, this will be a secret cove for my personal dumping. As the title says, I’ve already started some of the dumping on my trusted remarkable. But this will be more of a formal way to do so. I like gadgets, but I also do not like consumerism. This might be a very naivë approach to things, but in my politically/philosophically unaware head, this is how it makes sense. So as I was saying. I do like things with batteries but do not like buying them. That initially put me in a continuous position of watching endless youtube unboxing. But now, it has evolved into dumpster diving for spare parts and putting them together to make something thrifty. So far the only dumpster I’ve dove in has been of one of my relatives.
They tend to go on a spending frenzy from time to time, and I wait like a hyena in the tall grass to scavenge whatever they discard. For instance the latest piece of tech that came out of their house was a full fledged CPU. With a loose fan component and a loose wire dnagling, it was working pretty well.
But as for the reMarkable, I asked for it. From my wife actually. And it has been doing good lately. Reading books on it fun, taking notes on it fun and so is making daily plans. This website is supposed to be an extension of it. I have named it after the practice of reading, but it will grow more than that, as I can blurt out anything here.
